November UBS 12 x 12 New Artist/New Work musicians Haptic and video artist Lisa Slodki participate in November’s First Fridays. Haptic will DJ during First Fridays while Slodki projects found images on the MCA walls. November’s First Fridays theme is “Reflection” and guests may participate in an art scavenger hunt and dance to tunes by additional DJs The Blackholes.  Special guest sponsor Streeter Place invites First Fridays guests to help create a giant art wall of their artistic vision, titled “What Inspires You Today?” using mini-canvases and art materials supplied by Prismacolor. The canvases will later be displayed as a large work of community art at Streeter Place (355 E Ohio St). NOBILO is the Featured Wine of First Fridays. Basil Hayden Bourbon is the featured spirit of First Fridays.  First Fridays tickets include museum admission, live entertainment, and complimentary Puck’s hors d’oeuvres and are available the evening of the event for $16 ($8 for MCA members). Advance tickets are $11 ($8 MCA members) available through the MCA Box Office at 312.397.4010 or www.mcachicago.org. Doors are open from 6-10 pm. A cash bar is open until 9:30 pm. Guests must be 21 or older to enter.
