Filter Photo portfolio review will take place Saturday, October 31st, and Sunday, November 1st, 2009, at Loyola University's Crown Center Gallery in Rogers Park . All photographers are welcome and should bring one or two representative portfolios of 15-25 images. Participants will recieve insightful feedback on presentation, style and work. This is a great opportunity to meet face to face with some of the Midwest’s top gallerists, photo editors, educators, and curators!

We have an amazing lineup of reviewers, who were selected for their commitment, experience, and involvement in the Midwest photographic community and include: Independent curator and photographer Susan Aurinko (former Director of Flatfile Galleries), Lisa Hostetler (Curator of Photographs, Milwaukee Art Museum), Michael Weinstein (Photo Critic, New City Art), Rich Cahan (Picture Editor and former Director of "Chicago in the year 2000"), Martha Schneider (Director, Schneider Gallery), Jane Fulton Alt (award-winning photographer), Karsten Lund (Museum of Contemporary Photography Collection Research Fellow 2007-2009 and Flavorpill Editor), Elizabeth Whiting, (Curator, Union League Club, Chicago), Paul D'Amato (Professor of Photography at Columbia College) and Dave Jordano (award-winning fine art, documentary and commercial photographer).
