Around the Coyote Exhibitions is proud to present the 1st Annual Painting Competition and Exhibition. This exhibition is curated by Artist and Curator Sara Schnadt. The selected artists include Matt Hallinan, Mark Hansen, Lindsey Hook, Diane Huff, Elizabeth Kauffman, Blair Michele Meehan, John Mosher, Gosia Podosek, Emily Rapport, and Erin Rivers

The artists selected for this exhibition were chosen on the criteria of cohesive visual and conceptual themes in their work, as well as a strong aesthetic value. The accepted group of artists produce work in varying styles, subject matter and scale, but are all representative of clever, potent new and emerging paintings of all forms. The goal of this competition and exhibition is to showcase the most talented artists working in painting in the emerging contemporary art category.

An After-Party will be held at 9pm, at Debonair Social Club in Wicker Park. From 9pm-11pm, National Headquarters will present "SKINEMAX Live!", a unique Video Installation and Performance. Debonair Social Club is at 1575 N Milwaukee Ave. in Wicker Park. More info at www.debonairsocialclub.com
