Karen Hanmer: Retro Tech
Chicago artist Karen Hanmer looks back at early forms of technology to see their impact on us. Her History and Technology series of artists books links the creative process of the artist with that of the inventor, explorer or scientist.

The BEAUT.E (CODE) installation explores aesthetic values in the art of computer programming and includes creative documentation of interviews with software engineers regarding what they find beautiful or compelling about well-written software.
