> DESCRIPTION

Focus 4 features the work of four Illinois artists: Preston Jackson (Peoria and Chicago), Michael Onken (Carbondale), Steven Robnett (Elgin), and Suellen Rocca (Romeoville). Exhibition runs from February 25, 2013 - June 21, 2013.

Michael Onken's exhibition, curated by ISM Associate Curator Debra Tayes, features a selection of works on paper from his long career as an artist. Onken's works create narratives that reflect the quiet and sometimes isolated mysteries of our day to day lives, rendered in delicate, jewel-like images.
