> DESCRIPTION

These lush color photographs of women draped in patterned and textured fabrics in lavishly appointed studio settings comment on many provocative issues relating to women such as domesticity, concealment and identity. There also several allusions to culturally loaded draping -- such as the Virgin Mary, judicial robes and Muslim women in burkas.
