> DESCRIPTION

The Thomas McCormick Gallery is pleased to announce our Summer 2008 show: Abstraction. In his 1925 novel, The Great Gatsby, F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote: "So we beat on, boats against the current, born back ceaselessly into the past." This quote represents the theme of our summer show, as the exhibit illustrates the concept of the advancing (or complete disregard) of time, as abstract art is truly timeless.
