The President's Gallery at Harold Washington College is proud to present Summer in the City an exhibition of 25 works by students in the Department or Art and Architecture. The works included in the exhibition were juried by Mike Nourse, a Chicago-based visual artist and educator. The pieces represent the varied program offerings of the department - drawing, painting, architecture, ceramics, sculpture, photography, print media, and digital media. All of the works in the show will be considered for the annual student purchase awards, selected by Harold Washington College President Donald Laackman and his staff.
Harold Washington College is one of the seven City Colleges of Chicago. The President’s Gallery is located inside Harold Washington College, 30 East Lake Street, Room 1105.
