KCCoC Open House
Taste of Korean Culture
June 11, 2011 (11:00 am - 8:00 pm)

The Korean Cultural Center of Chicago (KCCoC) celebrates the opening of its Center in Wheeling this summer. This event is free to all! The official ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 2:00 pm, but the event is from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. Please come and join us at our first open house and bring your friends and family.

KCCoC was established in 2005 through grassroots fundraising. In April, 2010, it acquired a campus-style facility in Wheeling, Illinois. This Korean Cultural Center serves as a community hub for cultural exchange and charitable and educational programs. It houses a Korean museum, art gallery, library, classrooms, dance studio, and gathering areas open to all.

The Open House will showcase various charitable and educational programs and activities available at the Korean Cultural Center. The Event will include a variety of food, a cooking demo, Korean traditional dance, music, art, a resource center and historical memorabilia.
