Interns are a vital part of SUPERFRONT.

We are now accepting applications for positions open immediately through the rest of the year.

All of SUPERFRONT’s internships will be located in New York, in tandem with this year’s PUBLIC SUMMER exhibition, which will be taking place on Governors Island. Interns will be working closely with the Program Director in order to develop and plan a large-scale public project which includes a design competition and dynamic public programming.

Responsibilities will include some or all of the following: administrative and coordination work for a design competition, assisting with a fundraising campaign, help with the physical construction of a semi-outdoor space on Governors Island, acting as liaison between SUPERFRONT and partnering organizations, help establish programming, marketing and social networking outreach, managing and procuring supplies, sending emails, creating spreadsheets, photographing events, meeting great people and more.

Requirements:

Interest in SUPERFRONT’s mission.
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Clear and friendly communication skills.
Ability to interact with diverse populations in a myriad of settings in person, on the phone and via email.
Positive energy, reliability, flexibility and a willingness to help us make things happen!
Valid drivers license a plus.
