This weekend the South Side Community Art Center will close its current exhibition "Demise of the South Side Community Art Center" with the release of AREA #9 and a final performance by Sebastian Alvarez.  So head out there and check out the art, the performance and the only WPA community art center still in operation.  Not to mention, show your support.  Below are some images of past performances including  Theaster Gates and FluiD (in that order, left to right, artwork by Dan S.
