Hello frends! I am an artist. My roots take place in St.Petersburg, which has great architecture, culture and history that influenced me once and forever. Today, in the times of technical progress, mass production and new artificial materials I search for inspiration in the foundation of the Arts - old Russian Orthodox icons, Renaissance and folk cultures. I seek out look for new shapes and images within my themes using different materials, but my favorite is glass for its plasticity and abi... [more]

The Whiteness of the Whale: Reframing Frank Stella's Long Pursuit of Painting   Pick-button-0f29c6c075c514ef3a12253f1d60018e
Frank Stella at Whitney Museum of American Art October 30th - February 7th, 2016
Posted 11/23/15

We cannot begin any assessment of the work of Frank Stella without the obligatory quote that has followed his career for over fifty years. “What you see is what you see” was Stella’s painterly philosophy distilled down to seven words. If there is a definition of Minimalism that is more succinct, it has yet to replace Stella’s as a key to understanding a certain type of particularly American painting in mid-century art history. At the Whitney Museum we have a chance to ca... [more]

My Favorite Artworks at Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venezia (Venice)
11/22/15 Posted 11/22/15

Collezione Peggy Guggenheim (Peggy Guggenheim Collection), located in an unfinished 18th-century palace, Palazzo Venier dei Leoni, boasts many modern masterpieces ranging in style from Cubism and Surrealism to Abstract Expressionism. One of my favorite work there was a sculpture in the garden: The Cloven Viscount (Il visconte dimezzato) by Mimmo Paladino, which was simultaneously formal and fluid, familiar and strange, comforting and unsettling. The figure, installed inside a small square bri... [more]

Beyond the Controversy: How Jérôme Bel Gives Us Hope
11/18/15 Posted 11/18/15

Jérôme Bel’s oft-controversial repertoire found a new tone, precious and heartwarming, in his new Performa 15 commission, Ballet. As the audience poured in, sunlight filled the Martha Graham Studio Theatre with long blocks of gold. At 3:30, an ensemble filed in, a line up whose attire was as varied as their bodies: all ages, abilities and races. The group also had a performance at Marian Goodman Gallery, and the finale will be at El Museo Del Barrio (on November 19 at 8pm). At Performa 1... [more]

Merging with the Universe

At any given time you will find me involved in reading several books. Recently "The Afterlife of Billy Fingers" has had my attention as chapter 27 the Stream Of Life provides for me some confirmation about the nature of my creative work. Heres my attempt at an excerpt: I've finished reviewing my book of life and am on to a new phase.... I woke in my light body siting next to a magical stream. It seems to go on forever but is only a few yards across. This is not a stream in the usual sense. It has no... [more]

10/26/15 Posted 10/26/15

First of all let us understand what the term digitizing refers to, as after knowing the exact definition of the term it would be easy to apply it and know its applications.
