anyspace is primarily an area of freedom, an interdisciplinary and multifunctional exhibition space.

The name "anyspace" is a contraction of "any-space-whatevers" used by G. Deleuze to describe cinematographical shots that create a fragmented space in the narrative, without predetermined orientation and open to an infinite number of possible connections, a "suspended time" of pure freedom.

Located in Brussels, near the Avenue Louise, in the heart of a district of galleries, this small space opens onto the street through a large window lit night and day. So it is always visible from the outside. This project was initiated by Frederic Collier, independent curator, former director of contemporary art galleries, including Galerie Rodolphe Janssen for ten years.

anyspace is as a platform for projects and artistic achievements in a broad sense, non-exclusive in terms of "style", technique or nationalities. anyspace aims to promote contemporary art and contemporary culture through projects that focus on research, the stimulation of the experimental and the interdisciplinary, in an international context.

anyspace wishes to expose young emerging artists as well as more experienced artists to re-discover. The program will also include "confrontations" and "reconciliations" between artists and small thematic exhibitions. anyspace serves as a multifunctional space for exhibitions, but also screenings or lectures.
