> DESCRIPTION
STALACTICA unfolds in the building of the former Quincaillerie Vander Eycken in Brussels. The 1878 building becomes a surreal garden containing a universe of objects, sculptures and paintings. STALACTICA is curated by the fictive curator Sven Jorgensen inspired by a character from the Zucker Abrahams and Zucker directed movie Top Secret (1984). 
The fictive curator leads the visitor alongside a labyrinth of several chapters in a cave-like installation of stalactites and plants made from paper: archeologic perspectives, utopian visions, mental escape sceneries, pessimistic expressions, fragility and destruction aswell a pseudo-logical concepts.
 
STALACTICA is initiated by the french curator Anissa Touati & german artist Tjorg Douglas Beer and a co-production of Galerie Utopia Berlin / Athens and Ramapano Paris with the kind support of Collection Frédéric de Goldschmitd, Collection Patrick Letovsky, Collection Ariel Roger-Paris, Collection Famille Servais, Collection Pascaline Smets, Collection Ronald Rozenbaum, Collection Vincent Matthu. Collection Clemens Gunzer.
 
STALACTICA hosts a Dinner performance «Les Nourritures Terrestres » by Samuel Boutruche (Kolkoz), James Henry (chef from the Bones, Paris), Svante Forstrop (independent cook, Paris) - Only by reservation - 65 euros + STALACTICA Party - List & doorman - midnight until late -
