The third eye (also called “inner eye” or “eye of the soul”) is a metaphor for mystical and esoteric means, beyond the physical eyes, a third view, that of self-knowledge. Self-knowledge that involves knowledge of the world around us. Hicham Berrada, emerging artist, a student at ENSBA in Paris, is exploring the mystery of the creation of the world, science, nature, its universal laws, its organic matter, the animal world, all a constant problem of passing time. Robert Kessler is interested in social phenomena of our past, present and future. He makes these phenomena visible and understandable in his art. At 24, Marc Johnson impresses with his journey and his vision. The figures of grotesque metamorphosis and irrigate his work like in a constellation. They define his research as his perspective. Marie Maillard, meanwhile, explores the power of images in their confrontation with the space. After experimenting with image and space in outdoor environments, their research has been directed towards the immediate environment of the individual (which encloses it, which surrounds it).
Through their works, these four artists offer a poetic vision of the universe and its laws.
