Description
This quilt is an abstracted landscape, with digital images of horses interspersed with strips of fabrics, to form the plains and mountains. It is also like a "tone poem", celebrating the primary colors and accented with whites, greys and black on either edge. I started with a photograph of an earlier quilt, called "Messengers of God". This quilt has many small images of Persian horses and I have re-used these images, printed onto new cloth, in the present piece.
