"Rainforest" is the result of my experience in various tropical forests from Southeast Asia to Latin America.  There's such a beauty from the vast expanses of forest to the most minute plant and creature, some almost invisible to the human eye.  Unfortunately, many are unconscionably destroyed by fire to make way for commercial endeavors.  Ironically, it is the blending of contrasting colors, via water (wet-n-wet technique), that visually tell the story.  The colors in "Rainforest" were methodically laid on a bed of wet canvas and carefully controlled to create the desired effect.  Various layers create the depth.
