PROJECT SPACE GRÜNERHUND is a young non-profit exhibition project, situated in Berlin
Prenzlauer Berg, in directly neighborhood of Volkspark Friedrichshain.
PROJECT SPACE GRÜNERHUND wishes to give space and time to present a well selected
variety of national and international young emerging contemporary artists. In autumn 2008
the GRÜNERHUND was founded as a showroom as part of the appartment of the artist
Andrea Hildebrandt.
In four to six exhibitions per year, mostly Berlin based artists are invited to show their work
in Solo-Shows as well as in Group-Shows. The focus is mainly on painting and drawing.
In 2009, three Solo-Exhibitions - one with the swedish artist Sofie Arfwidson, the american
artist Tyson Skross and Simone Haack from Berlin took place. In september 2009, the first
Group-Show: "Into Nature" with works by the artists Mira Thomsen, Sonja Gerdes, Kerstin
Wagener, Sandrine Maheo etc. had been realised.
For the upcoming shows in 2010 the aim is, to focus more and more on artists, whose work
is concentrating on the topic "nature".
