Gallerie koal is pleased to present the exhibition SUMMER color SHOW from July 10 until August 2, 2014. On display will be various artistic positions by invited artists as well as artists represented by the gallery.
The pieces, of which some were created just for the exhibition, are influenced by “color“ and the “sentiment of summer“. They represent a broad spectrum of different media - ranging from photography, painting and collage to installation and sculpture.
The poem Summer Song (ca 1917) by American poet William Carlos Williams accompanies the artworks and served at the same time as an inspiration for the exhibition.

faintly ironical smile
summer morning, —
wanderer’s smile, —
if I should
buy a shirt
your color and
put on a necktie
where would they carry me?
