With the group exhibition »Nein Tanz Ja« the gallery »Krammig & Pepper Contemporary« continues its traditional cooperation with guest curators. Pieter Slagboom (*1956 in Valkenisse, Netherlands), a Dutch art creator and artist of the gallery, centres architecture for a show especially made for Berlin. Here, architecture is the prism through which he looks at Berlin. For him, it possesses an enormous presence:
“The meaning of Berlin is engraved in the architecture of the city. As important as the physical architecture though is the mental architecture of Berlin. Berlin develops diverse perspectives which have a great affect all over the world. The works I’ve chosen trace back to a common denominator: the psychological activity of the architecture. Furthermore the wide spectrum of possibilities of perception and interpretation of all these works composes another point in common…” (Pieter Slagboom)
In the exhibition »Nein Tanz Ja« Pieter Slagboom presents six positions from Belgium, Holland and the USA.
