In the midst of cuts to cultural budgets, international economic crises, and severe overvaluation in the art market, the Freies Museum Berlin has flourished for three years running. The movers, artists, cultural scientists, and organizers have designed a space for the production of real art – a place where artists from all over the world can work together and bring to life their visions – big and small.
The Freies Museum Berlin now looks back on 52 large exhibitions and approximately 100 events with more than 500 artists from 40 different countries.
In the last three years there hasn't been time for a massive party, but we're going to make up for that on Saturday, July 21st. The day's program is organized jointly by the Freies Museum, Walden Kunstausstellungen, and the Suomesta Galleria in collaboration with Piatto Forte.
