n.b.k. Artothek presents:
The exhibition at Neuer Berliner Kunstverein explores the diverse facets of a “world of things” in the world of art. In seven departments, 40 works by 40 artists can be seen, including works by Christo, Katharina Fritsch, Johannes Grützke, David Hockney, Peter Umlauf and Anja Teske. All exhibits come from the collections of the Artothek. Hence, the exhibition offers the opportunity to discover the diversity and quality of the collection.
From fall 2012 onwards, The World of Things will be shown at the Office of the Federal State of Berlin to the EU in Brussels. The concept has been developed by the students Bibiana Conty, Eva Heidke, Lisa Janke, Inka Nogossek, Luise Schenker, and Heike Schurig under the direction of Prof. Dr. Magdalena Bushart within a seminar at the Institute for Art History and Historical Urban Studies of TU Berlin. The exhibition is implemented in collaboration with Bärbel Kirchhoff, head of Artothek.
