Galerie R31 is pleased to present a group exhibition of seven emerging women artists from Berlin and New York. This female network decided to explore the abstract concept of the color magenta. At the same time, this hue has been imposed to woman in almost all societies. The visitor will have the opportunity to go trough interesting insights of this concept from the eyes of these contemporary artists that live in hungry art cities such as New York and Berlin.
The seven artists are Uli Brahmst, Patricia Cazorla, Esther Fritzsche, Denise Sheila Puri, Nancy Saleme, Annette Stieger, Tamara Trölsch working in a variety of media such as hand felted wool, stitching, assemblage, sawing, drawing and painting.
