RISE Berlin is a new artist run gallery and screen printing studio opening in mid September in the Neukölln district of Berlin, over the next twelve months the gallery will be showing a wide range of challenging and exciting international art.

 

Opening on Friday, 14th of September 2007, Rise Berlin is pleased to present the inaugural event 'Leben Lieben'.

'Leben Lieben' is an art exhibition that takes as its starting point a play on the German words Leben (life or to live) and Lieben (to love or loving).
Artists were invited to contribute works that expressed their own interpretation of the title 'Leben Lieben' and their quest as human beings for positivity and understanding of life and love. 'Leben Lieben' contains paintings, photography, printmaking and sculpture from a truly international perspective (UK, Japan, France, Canada, Greece, USA, Finland, Switzerland, Italy, China, Ireland, Spain, Turkey and Germany).
