Every year the end exam students of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie present themselves to the public.
This year a tremendous amount of students graduated and became
Bachelors of Fine Arts and Bachelors of Design. The 220 graduates
presented their work in the buildings of Rietveld at the Fred.
Roeskestraat and in the three greenhouses built in the garden of the

During the days of the exhibition photo’s were taken of the work of
the end exam students by Liam Tickner, Anne Huijnen and Katarina
Hruskova, students of the Photography department. Those photo’s
appeared on this site during or just after the exhibition, so this was
a growing site.

you are interested in their work, you can contact them by mail.

On Wednesday July 1st GRAY magazine came out.
GRAY magazine is the yearly magazine of the Academy made by
students from several departments. This year GRAY is inspired by the
personal archive of Andre Klein, head of the Fine Arts department. This

On Saturday July 4th at 4 pm the GRA Awards
were handed out in the canteen of the Rietveld Academie. An
external jury will choosed two winners in the categories Fine Arts and
Ben Zegers, dean of Bachelors of Fine Arts and Design of the
Rietveld Academie made public whowere the winners. The price is an
amount of 1500 euros.

2 prices of 1500 euros each will be awarded to those two talents that convince our members of the jury the most!
On the 4th of July at 4 pm Ben Zegers, member of the board of the
Gerrit Rietveld Academie made public who has won this years GRA Awards
in the canteen of the Rietveld Academie.
Two students were awarded.
One in the category Fine Arts
, represented by ALL fine arts departments: VAV, Photography, Ceramics,
Fine Arts, Image and Language, Theatre, DOGtime’s Fine Arts.
and one in the category Design,
represented by ALL design departments: Fashion, TXT (Textile),
designLAB, Architectural Design, Graphic design, Precious Matter
(Jewellery) , DOGtime’s ID-UM.
