To mark the week in which Queen Beatrix abdicates in favor of her son, Prince Willem Alexander, we have created a special Queen’s Tour! A tour guide will take you on an exploration of Her Majesty’s favorite works of art.

The tour is inspired by the 2000 exhibition "De Voorstelling. Nederlandse kunst in het Stedelijk Paleis" which presented Queen Beatrix’ personal selection of art from the collection of the Stedelijk Museum. Her Majesty chose work by a number of different Dutch artists.

When: April 22–29
Time: 2 pm – 3 pm
Free on presentation of an admission ticket!
Participants: a maximum of 15
To register: go to the Information Desk
Language: Dutch

In de week voor de troonswisseling eert het Stedelijk Museum Koningin Beatrix met een speciale Koninginnetour! Een rondleider neemt u mee langs de favoriete kunstwerken van onze Koningin.

De tour is geïnspireerd op de tentoonstelling 'De Voorstelling. Nederlandse kunst in het Stedelijk Paleis' uit 2000, die Hare Majesteit zelf samenstelde. Zij toonde toen werk van verschillende Nederlandse kunstenaars.

Wanneer: 22 t/m 29 april
Tijd: 14.00 – 15.00 uur
Gratis op vertoon van entreeticket museum
Deelnemers: maximaal 15 personen

U kunt de Koninginnetour natuurlijk ook zelfstandig doen. De favoriete werken van Koningin Beatrix zijn in het museum gemarkeerd met een kroontje.
