Capital A – Amsterdam Art Weekend

Amsterdam Art Weekend is an annual event giving a range of visitors the opportunity to explore Amsterdam's contemporary art scene. Amsterdam offers an array of possibilities, from participation in well-known international residency programmes to exhibitions in galleries, art institutes and museums.

In the first edition of Amsterdam Art Weekend 27 Amsterdam galleries will present special programmes in their own exhibition spaces. The weekend is being planned in collaboration with the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten, De Ateliers, de Appel Arts Centre, Stedelijk Museum and Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam. Amsterdam Art Weekend is part of, and is organized by, the non-profit foundation Capital A.
