A presentation in two parts about exhibition design
Out of Storage part 1: October 7 - October 27, 2012
EventArchitectuur
opening: Sunday, October 7, 16.00 hrs, invitation
The first part shows furniture and display material of the Out of Storage exhibition in the Timmerfabriek in Maastricht organized by Marres, Centre for Contemporary Culture in 2011.
EventArchitectuur (Herman Verkerk and Paul Kuipers) in collaboration with graphic designer Maureen Mooren were responsible for this exhibition design.
The Out of Storage exhibition was well balanced and had surprising solutions for tables, stools and walls.
Galerie VIVID presents an installation that will consist a number of original elements from this exhibition.
The design was based on two principles: Proportions that were generated from the paper din series, A4, A3 etc. and the use of exhibition design models from the 19th, 20th and 21st century.
Without art the focus will this time be on the beauty of the display material.
Out of Storage Part 2: October 28 t / m 30 November 2012
