DESCRIPTION

The Brooklyn Museum is one of the oldest musems in the country. Located in large beaux-arts building which is part of a complex of nineteenth-century parks and gardens that also includes Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and the Prospect Park Zoo. The museum has a large and varied collection which ranges from antiquities and Egyptian artifacts to contemporary art.
